Thinking of starting a business ?

Over the last eighteen months the economy has experienced a severe downturn and as a result of this many businesses have gone under and many people made redundant. For those made redundant the next step is to find another job, but the reality is jobs are very difficult to find right now, so some think about going down the route of self employment.
To many having your own business is what they have always wanted, the increased satisfaction of working for yourself, the greater flexibility in working hours, the list goes on, they feel it could be exactly the right move to make. The reality is that it could be exactly the right move to make but before they start there is an awful lot of thinking and work that needs to be done to determine the who, how, what, where of the business. Thought must be given to many areas of the business prior to starting to avoid the loss of time and money. The greater the amount of work done at this early stage the more purpose and direction the business will have and also the greater chance of success.
